We are Bubba and Sally Woodard.
We are both natives of Mississippi where we completed our education at Delta State University. Upon college graduation we moved to Northwest Arkansas in search of a better place to work and live. Both of us spent most of our careers in the corporate world allowing our jobs to dictate our lives.
Nine years ago we were invited on a vacation with friends that forever changed how we saw our lives. A week long get away on a catamaran in the British Virgin Islands was life changing. We had no idea what to expect, all that we knew is that Sally had recently lost her Dad, left a 17 year career at Walmart and was in a job that was not very fulfilling. Doing something outside our comfort zone was a Welcomed Change!
That week in the BVI opened our eyes to a dramatically different way of living, a slower pace of living, and one that was not caught up in the materialistic things this commercialized world leads you to believe you need. We could see ourselves living this lifestyle but the bigger question can the two of us survive living together on a Leopard 42 ft. catamaran?
